Hi Penguins!

 

Thanks for all the great questions on our last post, "Ask a Club Penguin Intern." 

 

Although I would love to answer all of your questions, I've gotta go home at some point haha. I did however try and draw a picture of my penguin! I'm still curious as to why I'm not on the artist team... ;)

 

Now on to the questions!

 

Riyita: "What are you going to school for?"

 

I am going to school for my Bachelor of Business Degree, focusing on Branding and Entrepreneurship. Fun fact: Up until right before I applied for my internship with Club Penguin, I was originally set on being an Accountant. I realized after a few accounting courses that it was not my passion, so I quickly changed paths.

 

Goldblue1: "How did you sign up to be an intern?"

 

Signing up to be an intern is much like applying for any other job. I sent in my resume through my University and went through the same interview process other team members do. Although an internship isn't mandatory for some Universities and Colleges, it's extremely helpful when figuring out what you want to do for a career. 

 

Semper5010: "What department do you work for?"

 

I work with the Community team, so I get to work in an office with Polo Field and Ninja! Community isn't the only team in Club Penguin that offers internship positions, either. Teams such as: Project Management, Programming, and Art sometimes offer internships as well.

 

Xela424: "What's your favorite thing about working at Club Penguin?"

 

It's hard to choose just one thing, so I'll give you a few! My favorite things about working at Club Penguin are the opportunities available to enhance your learning, as well as the amazing people you get to work and interact with. I work with some incredibly talented people that never cease to amaze me. I also never thought how much interacting with you guys could be so rewarding! Being in contact with the community on a daily basis is what makes this job worthwhile. I have seen what many of you are capable of and what you are striving for -- it absolutely blows me away. 

 

Surgex10: "How long do interns stay at Club Penguin for?"

 

Interns usually stay a minimum of 4 months but some can get extended longer.

 

Trainman1405: "Do you think you'll return to Club Penguin in the future for a full time job and not just an internship?"

 

I would love to if I had the chance! I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity to work with a company that promotes values that align so close with my own. I only have one year left towards my degree, so we'll see how it goes!

Adventure with me - Golden Puffle evidence

I just treasure my evidence a week ago, so I wanted to share altogether so we can search for the Golden Puffle, just like Alaska! So here and take a closer look:

Here's the difference. The left one <- is the Golden Puffle at the SWF File, the right one -> is the Golden Puffle at the CP official blog. They look slightly like it!

At the membership page, CP hint the Gold Puffle to be here during the Operation: Puffle Party! How cool is that?

FIREWORKS!

Hello Penguins! 

 

Here at Club Penguin, we are always looking for a good party! It's true, we LOVE celebrating whenever we get the chance. Some of you may have seen the  fireworks already and are wondering why. To celebrate of course! 

 

In some places around the world, the Festival of Lights is celebrated with the lighting of fireworks and sparklers that light up the night sky. So we added some fireworks to Club Penguin!

 

Head to the Iceberg, the Ski Hill, or the Beacon and enjoy the lights!

What happen this Month OMG!!!

This month will have a new puffle, Do you think its Silver or Gold?

KIRA: I think its gold because we need to rescue the Golden puffle. However, they will formed again!!

PURPLE: I think its gold because Polo gave us the species about that.

RAINBOWY:  I think it's a Golden Puffle too because at the SWF file, I know what the golden puffle colour and shape it is and it look exactly like it. And on the Membersip page, It says Gold Puffle bla bla bla.... and it WILL be a golden puffle! There are no silver puffle in the SWF file so golden puffle will be it!

A. Purple's name used to be Zabrikut but CP changed her name because the name is not in English, so she changed her name to PurpleTrends because her fav colour is purple and she like trends (not really). Well, Rainbowy483 have a second account called Rainbowy 8 9 and it is used for testing as well, espacially the updated banned design.

I met AA!

Rainbowy483 met AA last Saturday at the server Cloudy at 3:00. I was like CAN'T WAIT FOR HER RARE BG AND STAMP! I then started wearing her bg and I just got 4 mascot stamp now! We had lots of fun and the room wasn't full! The room is quite quiet and that's it! I also heard that Purple just met Rookie and she said she was like OMG OMG OMG! LOL! Waddle on!

A. For Rainbowy483, Her favourite party is Hollywood Party. For PurpleTrends, her's is Teen Beach Movie Party. And Kira Lovely1 favourite party is probably the same as Purple, it's unknown whether she likes Teen Beach Party the most but we'll ask her later.

Q. What party did you first joined?

A. Rainbowy483's first party was Temple Of Fruits Party. Purple's first party was Fall Fair 2012 and Kira's first party was Halloween Party 2012.

Q. Why did Zaka152 leaved the blog?

A. It's impossible to ask but it's because that he isn't online for 1 year. He is really addict to Minecraft, and he never played it for like 9 months or so. But don't worry, I, Rainbowy will control him. He will be back in the future.

Q. Do you have a YouTube account?

A. Yes, we have. But I forgot the password so I do not know how to enter it. Some of you said "who made it?", Purple activated the YouTube account, but it's unknown if she forgot the password or not.

Q. Are you cousins or families?

A. I'm not giving the answers because it's personal information. But all I can say is... Purple, I, Kira is related and we have known each other for 1 year. Zaka152 is in my family tree and of course he is a bit cheerful... LOL.

A. This is such a silly question :\

Q. Are you all famous?

A. We currently checked our Overview and we got 52 views today. We don't know if we are famous or not. But I'll let you know if we are famous!

Story Trailer - Party Alone

Yay! It was 8th Anniversary Party! I came to the coffee shop. I grabbed the background, stamp and of course the anniversary hat. But when I just turned around, there was.... silent. There are no penguins at the party and it grew even more silent, not even one penguin was there, or two. I decided to party myself, which means alone... yes, I said alone. What will Rainbowy483 do? Will she meet other penguins again? Will she be alone forever?

The party will be made on Wednesday, stay tuned! Waddle on!

8th Anniversary Party peak

Today, I wanted to make reviews about the 8th Anniversary Party:

This is what it looks like outside the Coffee Shop. Now, let's take a peak of the Anniversary room. Hush, don't tell Aunt Arctic I just peaked through the Coffee Shop!

Wow! I earned a stamp for blowing out candles, I get the This Old Town  background and definitely the 8th anniversary hat. The odd thing is... Club Penguin Coffee Shop is now decorate into a museum. Now I know all of the Anniversary Hat and how the Jackhammer were made. Thanks Club Penguin for doing a really good job and so far, this is the best Anniversary ever, no matter what! 

Today, I decorated the colourful Anniversary Iggy to show support for the 8th Anniversary Party. Now, I will decorate my igloo into a rainbow-ish kind of igloo! 

Now this is what I'm waiting for so long! But there's a bug that there is two 2013 books. And there is a double bug that the purple 2013 yearbooks can't open up! But still, I wish a happy anniversary to CP! 

Now, it's time for a rate. I'll rate it as 10/10 of course! I really wish a happy birthday and a really wonderful anniversary. Stay clean and safe, everybody and don't forget... waddle on!

Newspaper 24/10/13

I wonder what coming's up right now! Let's see:

Aunt Arctic continued: A tip through penguin history. Where did the museum items come from? -Archie Awlogee. As a bit of a historian, I wanted to have some quality exhibits for the Museum. But collecting all of these relics wasn't easy. I felt a bit like Alaska, the intrepid adventurer. Mostly I was exploring the Boiler Room though, not an ancient temple! The clothes are on loan from Cadence's collection. You should see her closet! I almost got lost on my way out! Gary donated the jackhammers. Ever since he went back in time, he's been interested in how inventions evolve. Please do take a look when you come by the Coffee Shopfor the party! Jokes: What did the horse say when he fell? Help! I've fallen and can't giddy up! -Cudulymeg. Why do cows have belts? Because their horns don't work! -Penguinhd. Why shouldn't you tell jokes on the iceberg? Because the ice might crack-up! -Tegelman How do you throw a party in outer space? You plan-et!

Homes of the dark and creepy. By rookie- Rookie here again! It seems the transformed trick-or-treaters have found their own favourite Halloween hotspots around the island. I interviewed them to find out about these haunting homes (I also really wanted to use the recorder I got from Aunt Arctic). First, I went to the Vampire School. I spoke to a Count (he must be the math teacher), ande he said, "The place is spectacular. You should stay so we can make you lunch." But I had more to report! So I had a sandwich. Then, I went to the Howling Rock in the Forest and spoke to a werewolf. He was busy tracking a scrumptious scent when I arrived. I asked him about why he liked it here. He paused and said, "How'll I ever find a betterplace than this?" My last stop was the Graveyard at the Docks. There was a whole horde of zombies to talk to! They all had the same great things to sayabout their new hangout: "Unnnnnngh gargle mnnnnngh." Ask Aunt Arctic: Well it isn't easy to choose. Herbert's takeover of my beloved Club PenguinTimes stands out though. It was a grim period. In the end, I was proud of both the EPF agents and the citizens that put a stop to his horrible plan. Let me be direct: I'll never let the Club Penguin Times fall underhis control again. If I ever, get a hint of a scheme like that, I'll send out the call right away. And I don't doubt that the brave EPFagents will answer it! Is there any new yearbooks? -Cut N. Paister. Of Course! Our splendid yearbook will be on display in the Coffee Shop.

It's been great eight continued: It's time to celebrate all that makes us such an exciting, wonderful, and charming community! I so look forward to this party each year. The Coffee Shop is being temporarily renovated into a Museum and it will have exhibits showcasing the history of the island. Ever wondered what cavepenguins used as a jackhammer? Come by to find out! It is one my favourite times to visit and reminisce about all that has happened. It'll be delighted to have you all there so we can chat. You're the ones who make the island such a fun place after all! Have some cake, pick up a special anniversary hat, and let everyone know your top memories of the year. Stop by after a night of trick-or-treating. The party and the museum is only on until Oct. 31, and it'll be a whole year until the next one!

Anniversary Party Tips: The Anniversary Party isn't just a great way to celebrate 8 years of good times... You can pick up a commemorative hat, a Stamp, and a background! These exclusive hats are available just inside the door as you get in. Get'em now, because they'll be gone by Oct. 31. Collect the background by standing in front  of the camera so it can take your picture. And to earn the Stamp, you just need to blow out the candieson the cake! Happy Anniversary!

Our splendid yearbook will be on display in the Coffee Shop. I think I love the messages in the book the most. It's great to hear what the others thought of the past year.
